it was a totally awesome day today!! had to perspire, gossip alot and talk alot. well, let's go through the day slowly ...
woke up very early ... after so many times of listening to the "miss independent - kelly clarkson" ringtone i purposely set to wake myself up ... then i changed into my cks house tank top + shorts ... before long, i was running with my dad ... almost hurt myself when i fell towards the last part ... darn it ... the person blocked my way!! came back, bathed and slept ... until ...
woke up ... again ... and then used the com for a while before making my way to city hall to meet up my small group ppl for my first of three ... yup, u read it right ... first of 3 birthday celeb!
at city hall, saw hillary, esther, tim sitting on the steps waiting for the rest + me (oops ... so sorry for making u wait .. but hang on, u guys said 11.45 .. i was on time ... o wells ...). yeah, then tao han + caleb joined us and we made our way to kushin-bo (to all who wanna know where ... it's suntec city tower 2 lvl 3). it was what a spread ... free flow of sushi, drinks, dessert, fried rice, fried stuff and more! hah ... we had so much fun time, eating, chatting and gossiping ... haha ...
saying all sorts of things like ... gossip girl is not for guys ... and then, andrew realised he lost his wallet!! arggh ... so sad ... he specially took half-day off for me ... to celebrate with us my birthday ... and then ... he somehow lost his wallet ... then, we moved on to discuss abt christmas lunch and stuff ... so sorry caleb, we just joined in the fun of planning together with hilary =)
later on, visited cliff at his work place ... so lonely at the 7-11 ... so stayed abt an hour or so talking to him about ... basically ... erm ... everything under the sun. yeah, from canoeing to jobs to dr joint to dota to ... aiya ... to many to name. yeah ... so poor thing ... faced so many rejections from so-called "potential customers". and some more ... no one to talk to the whole day ... and hardly cld do anything but stand, sit, stand, sit and the cycle repeats! even the cashier had ringing business and great queues. i wonder how i wld ever survive such a day! jia-you cliff! you can do it ... just remember what i said abt counting and stuff ...

it was so fun working with cliff, sheng jian and jeremy today!! haha ... catching up on some old & NEW stuff ... suan-ing ... and more ... haha ...
we first met up at ikea, then, we headed for the "supposed" factory place ... then i said "stock-taking", but the secuirty guard was like "huh ... who are u looking for ..." and he even went on to "pretend" to know who my neighbour was ... so joke!
so, we went to the nearby coffee shop to have some little "breakfast" ... while i went to call to find out how to get to the real location ... haha, i broke the news to them afterwhich, saying that wasn't the location (luckily this time i got it right!) ... so we headed for the "factory" ... which looked much better than the previous one ... and thank God, we weren't late ... cuz people just started to go in ... and we didn't start work till like 9am or so ...
it was so sad the 4 of us were not working together (unlike planned) at first ... but somehow or rather, sj & i + cliff + jems were working together ;) haha ... then, sj and i were like the first in stock-taking that we were given 1.5 hrs or so to chat! man ... the supervisor was awesome ... and his name's jackson ... will never forget him! well, it was a good time to catch up with some old friends ... whom i havent had the chance to speak to for like ... months now! (ever since nat'ls ended).
talking-freely then chalked up abt 3 hrs in total! sitting on the stairs, random gatherings and finding precious "missing" items ... the one i was supposed to find was like $200!! my goodness ... that's ... heartbreaking ... if i was the boss, my heart wld have swelled ... for the wrong reason (well, yeah, whatever). but i never knew that working with sheng jian was so fun, sharing stuff and knowing each other better!! yeah, i've always wanted to do that ... but u know, canoeing always restricted time.
well, i guess this holiday job aint that bad as i thought it wld be after all .. it's better than expected! totally fun, relaxing and wild! for lunch, we had hotdogs from ikea. at first, we wanted to only buy 1 ... then go to anchorpoint to lunch at foodcourt, but then, after our first bite of the first hotdog, we could not resist the temptation of another round especially so when it's only $1 for 1 hotdog ... how worth it can it be ...
yeah, then at the end of the day abt 5pm+, we were like made "I/Cs" ... (sounds cool eh, but so not, if u know what i mean ...). haha, our job was to like tell the rest of them to go arrange the boxes on the shelves neatly ... then some girl was like "wait lah, can relac anot, wait 1 min can ..." my goodness .. so much for the title "I/C" ... then sheng jian at the end was like "eh, michael, so now we promoted alr ... pay rise eh ..."
well, we'll see ... i doubt so anyways ... i'll promise you guys to find good jobs during this holidays!! ;)
