hey all ... it's gonna be some time before my next blog post appears ... cuz ... this mid years is crucial ... i dun wanna suffer the same fate as last mid-yrs ... it was horrible! i wanna do well and close the first semester with beautiful memories ...

hey it's been about a week ... anyways, well, the 2nd day of nat'l juniors was pretty interesting. since i cldn't remember much ... well ... here's the gist of it;
i didnt make it thru semis by 1 sec, alot of ppl made it thru the semis though ...
an exciting 1,2, X, 4 finish by our very own Sec 2s! darn that SJI Sec 3 who took part in the U15 k1 race. spoilt our 1, 2, 3 finish!!
a disappointing finish for our ib k4 ... sorry josh ... mr see was debriefing me ... so i cldn't take photos of u guys.
it rained heavily and everyone was scrambling.
wei keat + sean had to race in the rain ... thus a confusion between sean/wei keat ... who got into finals ... in the end ... sean made it in and everyone was surprised!!
my lovely junior - proud of him: ray peh - had a wonderful finish of 2:39 ... beating my heats timing and his heats timing of close to 10 secs.
our school finished off tops (incl. nat'l team in that case) ...
the post-njcc school daysafter the njcc ... there was some kind of lathargy ... dunno why ... school seemed to be abit dull. had experienced the most dull days in school since day 1! but then, there were many many things that happened during this week also.
monday - took C2 with leon. first 10 mins = hell; directional, balancing problems. 10 - 20 mins = getting better, almost got thrown off boat. 20 - 30mins = much better, can go straight at times. 30 - 40mins = thank God! we could actually row straight for 10 consecutive strokes. 40 - 60mins & beyond = rowing down lanes, 1st failed attempt at sprinting, 2nd attempt onwards improved alot!
really enjoyed the monday! leon ... you really made my day man!
tuesday - dragonboat. only had 2 corxsen. so, we took 2 x 20 men boats. we had a tiring trg. i was at first the last man. then switched with ab ... so 2nd last man. switched with sj, so 3rd last man. then, mr goh made a 'wise choice' ... put me right in front where nick ng is supposed to be = point man. then, had a 10 min rest right in front. after which, had to switch back to the front again ... rowed with winston's blade (sdba). very very taxing. then, another switch with nick ng. finally, rowed point man again. this is like the most switches in a day. it's almost equivalent to from T to C to K to T to K to T ... etc.
wednesday - bb/mpac madness. had to do some bb stuff then crossed over to mpac room. the apple shop guy came. he brought our pro and our final cut pro disc got stuck in the mac. HATE IT! first, he told us he was sick ... so cldn't come to deliver (the previous week) ... now he says our disc stuck! i'm gonna hammer him man! but save apple shop sponsors good products for our event. then, left at 4.40 for bb awards.
thursday - back to C1. had a long day ... rowing technicals. then, suddenly, there was a Cat 1 warning. headed back to shore. had to do chin ups. then ... when i was doing my 70th or 80th, it started to rain real badly. we all did our chin ups in the rain. when mr see told us to quickly go back to shed for shelter, everyone scrambled. we ran for our dear lives as it was raining really very badly + wind = madness.
friday - bb/SL. had the best day of all. settling some bb stuff ... then heading for SL where i had a better supervising time this round. then, chester gave me a ride home.
saturday - trg=8km row. had a good time catching up with ray and shengyu. talking while paddling the last k, but bad directional problems. then, we had sprints of 100m. loved the day.
then, went for lunch with wj and sl. when i headed home, i felt sleepy and tired, so didn't go for the rehearsal.
sunday - sing, sing, sing. tuition. cut hair. now = blogging.
