x'mas carolling this year is over ... i'm rather disappointed with it ... cuz there's lesser places than last year (according to my sis) ... well, the best place so far is still novus @ the national museum. sigh ... i hope next year would be better ...

well, today was fellowship week ... and i can't believe it's the first time i actually went out with the group ... i thot girls wont overpower guys today ... but i guess i was wrong ... only 2 girls and like 5 guys today ... we ate at macs for breakfast and had some small talk + gossip session ... then the 5 of us (guys, not girls) went to watch I Am Legend. it was rather nerve-wrecking at times ... so silent ... then suddenly bam! loud shrieks of the mutated human.

it was rather funny to sit next to (small) tim, who graciously offered everyone his gummies ... he was covering his ears like a small child (k, no offence, though ur one year younger than us ... we understand that). so funny ...

anyways, though the movie wasn't worth the $9.50 i paid for ... but ... i must congratulate will smith on his stint of staying his home apartment for 3 weeks without getting out of the house in preparation for this movie. the plot is rather weak and could have been better. the success around the world .. at box offices goes to show that ppl love the show. oh well, that's the result - international success.

with 1.5 days left of 2007 ... im gonna reflect back on what has happened this year (both good and bad):

- major conflicts during oep in shanghai
- did badly for sciences
- joined fps for iso
- appointed vice-chairman of class
- jwee came back twice or thrice this year
- did not make it to the top 4 k1s (k2 ppl)
- had a change in canoeing partner
- got 5th in finals (thank God for seeing us through to finals)
- got 2nd for dragonboat, 1st for team event
- b div gold
- auditioned for ym philo
- made it in for ym philo and joined yangshen's beloved band
- topped class in term 3
- did not make it for fps finals as team
- entered fps finals australia as alternates
- won 3rd for fps alternates
- won 1st for inter-class debates
- received pc award (waited 2 yrs for this ...)
- had to go for day camp for phy
- managed to go for iba during day camp period
- passed phy re-exam
- appointed bb head awards nco
- appointed mpac president
- appointed canoeing captain (thank God for blessing me with so many things!)
- made improvement in canoeing after making a transition
- celebrated birthday, biggest celebration ever
- released second digital lyrical album, reintroduction
- joined ym carolling
- sang at many places
- made many many new friends from ym philo and carolling

it's the time of the year to say "merry christmas" again! i've not been blogging cuz of so many crazy activities that have been filling up my november+december schedule ...

today was at wheelock sakae sushi havin small lunch gathering with ben, mike and kevin ... it was nice to meet up together ... the first time in 1.5 years ... actually sitting down and reliving memories (okay ... we're not that old, but ...) yeah ... it was very nice to be talking about all the primary school stuff ...

today i saw so, so, so, so, so many acs ppl ... firstly ... there was this acsi yr 4 guy at the city hall stn (with a shirt sayin 4.14) ... then also saw ... eh ... wei en and gang (plus primary school friend jed) at taka, also saw (ex) canoeing senior "mr magician" with his girlfriend? then there was tim lau ... 2 gep cf persons ... acsp mr kelvin lim (the swimming/pe head) with his (er-herm) little children 'swim kids' ... finally (i think) ... there also was my cousin (who also was an acsian) ...

anyways, backtrack ... ytd was the first day of carolling. we met up at bb hq for practice/warm ups and had some pretty last minutes. singing ... and filing ... then we headed over to ritz carlton for our very first carolling at felicia's parents cell group dinner ... we had amanda who said 'shit' cuz' i think she's nervous and anxious as she couldn't find the page for the first song ...

just before that, yangjian made some blunders ... by speaking without thinking ... that's not totally unforgivable ... cuz' sometimes when you're so excited ... you tend to do something stupid ... so to yangjian: IT'S OKAY! so long as the next time round you just think harder! ;)

after the carolling, we were treated to a quick 10-minute 2 course dinner ... a wonderful bowl of prawn dumpling noodles + aloe vera dessert. kenneth was like "eww ... i'm eating flowers" ... well, but it tasted so very good ... jotham and i were like commenting on it ... and the prawns as well ... those kind of fresh ones which have the tingling feeling down your throat which would make me vomit almost immediately.

after that, while a group of 4 of us were leaving the restaurant ... i was close to the entrance/exit of the restaurant ... when a totally outrageously funny thing happened!! drama time! i turned behind to look at the rest of the group as they were making their way towards the exit ... when i bumped into the side decoration with a porcelain pot/vase + some ornamental sticks inside ... jotham managed to save the toppled porcelain ... while he let go of the sticks ... cuz of jotham catching everything ... it looked as if he was the one who fumbled all these stuff ... (sorry jotham) ... just as he caught hold of everything ... he said "oh my God" (do not use God's name in vain ...) so loudly that the ang-moh couple at the side was laughing ... it was such a hilarious sight i tell you! we were laughing as we exited the hotel lobby to our next location timbre@substation via taxi.

at timbre ... i also saw familiar faces like eugene, "vocal powerhouse" eric, "drummer" david luo and super grand canoeing seniors ...
