thank you everyone for making this week so wonderful (for the birthday side).
it was such a great time celebrating my birthday with ppl like Cliff, Zac, Doug, Nick and the rest ... with ben ng "rushing" to the party after he landed from his switz/italy trip. haha ... speaking of him, luckily with his appearance he made everyone laugh with his funny accent.
fetched cliff from the station ... as he may not know the way (but an excellent geog student though) ... so funny to see him in shorts ... then, we played all sorts of bizarre games which kinda made everyone loosen up. josh ng, doug and zac were like so wacky during the course of the day ... especially during millionaire ...
taboo was the new game introduced and was a great hit ... didnt expect such a good turnout. but one thing i didnt like was that ... tuesday's training made my legs/hip area so painful ... and walking was such a difficulty. it was better than i expected this year ... as i was hoping for ppl like mike saat and others to come ...

today was the day ... both bb big day and my big day!! spent several hours over at amk hub being the line of honour for the PM to come to kick off the official sgb. then i came to realise that it was also josh ong's bday ... plus some year 5 too.
before i set off for home, i received 2 sms-es from jeremy tan and paul lim. jem sent at like 00:11 ... which i think was the sweetest as he stayed up so late to wish me! (thx once again jeremy!). and i was so surprised to hear from paul as we didnt chat much in the year ... though we did engage in convos once in a while. thx bro!
when i reached there, the first person to wish me was ... jeremy also ... cuz he also reached there early. then i was ben sim ... then zac tan, then shaun ling, then joel tieh, jon poon, min kai. we finished at 12+ and then went to eat lunch together.

wooohooo! physics reexam is over and so is IBA (though i wish i could work longer, office work is so fun ... to me at least). now, canoeing trainings have begun again and it's so lovely to see all my juniors and seniors once again after on-and-off absence during the 2 hectic weeks.
today, training was like all over again for me ... trying to regain back my C stroke ... which i changed to a new style which is much easier, but it doesn't seem to work very well either ... always gotta stop and hold water.
it was kinda embarrassing to let k.L do the talking of rod today cuz he made a very, very democratic "poll" on the day and menu of rod. i also felt that it was like my fault for not briefing him before he went on with that. i'm so sorry that Mr See had to scold you for that ...
anyways, josh tan is finally online! he is finally back from his o-levels ... which ended like super early this year. haha, i really needed someone to talk to while rowing ... thx josh for ur accompaniment.
then, after training, had lunch with z.T at plaza sing. then while we were eating, both of us felt so paranoid. it's like every other teenager around seem like kinda familiar to us. it felt like we know people around us, but it turned out otherwise. then, we went looking at nitendo ds stuff ... comics ... speaking of which, i'm really waiting for the arrival of the new lite.
we also went to watch The Game Plan (which i heard was good from my brother ...) we headed down to the cinemas and really enjoyed with all the laughters + really sad moments of the movie. that's why i really enjoy disney movies (most of them, rather) ... cuz they have the x-factor and high quality. not like those kinda no storyline, no plot and chalk up your time just whiling your time away.
i must say that "The Rock" a.k.a Joe is an excellent actor and admire his courage to take on such a role! way to go!

initially, i thought that i survived my first week of iba by working with this irritating, problematic, super-auntie C. Jia Shun. i'm not really concerned if he even gets the chance to read this or not ... cuz ... no one would be very happy to work with him ... (even the lawyer is stressed cuz' of his never-ending questions).
firstly, when i wanted to go to a food court to eat ... he said go to MACDONALD's instead when we just had a Western lunch the day before ... and i had to compel with his words ... at macs, he laughed at me for buying an apple pie ... (how stupid and childish can he get??!! he gets on anyone's nerves)
he always thinks that he is right ... he doesnt give in to you (maybe only once or twice) ... then when im like typing the documents ... and he got nothing to do (cuz he was just too free and didn't dare ask for what to do) ... he just pretended to be busy by like standing at the back of my seat ... looking at what im typing ... such stressful times ... (im so happy he's not coming tomorrow!! yay!! thank GOD)
then ... when we were in the High Court library today, i told him that i want to go back to the office to do documents-typing ... but then he was like "wah lao ... u so stupid ... come here then don't want to listen to the cases ..." ... so i happily walked out of the library ... then when i was at the city hall mrt station ... he called and asked "eh ... how do i get to the mrt station ah? which one is the nearest" ... so i kindly told him ... that's like the so ironic thing ... he wanted to stay on for the case-hearings ... but he simply gave excuse that that place was so cold, so quiet ... so empty (which was what i said previously and he snugged at it ...)
then when i came out of the lift of tanjong pagar stn .. he called for the third time and asked me for directions again ... then he told me that he was at SMU when he was supposed to be at the City MRT stn (outside st. andrews cathedral). he told him dunno how many thousand and one times to go to the white church (st. andrews') but he simply couldn't get me ... then i was like thinking ... (OH MY GOODNESS, a guy so tall who is not street smart and still dares act big!!)
back at the office, when there was a paper jam (when it was his fault very very extremely obviously ...) ... he told me to "screw it and go away" ... and still said "thanks for giving a wild goose chase just now lah ... fine lah ..." ... what a stupid "RETARD HE IS!!!" really can't stand him anymore!!!!!
I pray to the Lord to grant my wish of putting some sense into his head ..

november 1st, 2007. that marks the start of november ... of which has many birthdays ... and to begin ... there's ...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSHUA TAN!
i'm really thankful that my bro joshua tan and my previous partner, dav chia for giving me a BIG card last year during the rod ... which also was my birthday (kinda like a celebration but ... not really). anyways, do pray for him and other sec 4s as they go through their final lap of exams in their secondary education.
next, about my iba. at first we were all sorting out files according to serial number ... year ... then we met Ms. Sharma (a lawyer who is in tip-top condition ... "like a durian" as quoted from the other lawyer ... strong on the outside, soft on the inside). she's very outgoing and happy-go-lucky. she knows her stuff well and is indeed a lawyer whom i look up to. we took taxi to court and back ... and the taxi fare which she kindly paid for ... what a L-A-D-Y!!
in the afternoon, just before we left, she bought for us some chewy doughnuts from amara ... they were really kinda chewy ... i ate the peanut flavour ... and when you bite it, some cream just oozes out from the core of the "bread" ...
sigh ... there's quite number of things still left undone:
- mpac camparty
- bb company pot luck
- canoeing r.o.d (assisting)
- mpac 2008 stuff ...
- bb 2008 ta camp
- school work ...
anyways, my 3rd single off Reintroduction, Bridge to Heaven, arrives at MBStore on Monday, 5 Nov by 9pm. It's the most anticipated single of the year as it closes the year with hopefully a hit? thank you so much for supporting/downloading just why (13 weeks at #1), reintroduction (11 weeks) and Reintroduction (album) [2x Platinum ... soon to become 3x].
